Nominee for the M&A Award 2011

The nominees for the prestigious M&A awards 2011 have been published! The sale of Majestic to BUNZL has been nominated for Best Deal Midmarket 2011.

DB&S Corporate Finance advised the shareholders of Majestic. The transaction was announced on August 30, 2011 before the opening of the financial markets. After the authorities advised positive the deal was finalized on September 23rd.

Majestic (www.majestic.nl) is a wholesaler of personal protective equipment (PPE), including work gloves, hearing protection and helmets. Majestic was owned by the three brothers Kruiniger. Majestic operates from offices in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and the United States. Majestic is the leading supplier of companies that directly sell to the end users. In 2010 the sales amounted to approximately Euro 63 million.
