J.P. BorstAfter my study Business Science at the Erasmus University of Rotterdam I started my career with Coopers & Lybrand at the international audit branch in Rotterdam. Because I completed two studies ( strategic and financial management ) I was frequently asked for "special assignments"- such as acquisitions, reorganizations and due diligence research.
After completion of my study as a registered accountant I decided to look for an organization specialized in supporting acquisitions. These activities are close to my chest. That was the main reason I started as a financial analyst with Turnpoint, an acquisition boutique with branches in Rotterdam, Brussel, Paris, London and Frankfurt. During my stay there I build up a lot of experience in across the border acquisitions. In 2004 I started with Horwarth de Zeeuw & de Keizer, I was responsible for the corporate finance department in Rotterdam, our clientele came mainly from the MKB segment.

October 1st 2005 I made the move to entrepreneurship by joining DB&S as partner.
Together with three terrific partners I want to make a success of our business philosophy. All of them professionals with 'Big Four' experience but nevertheless entrepreneurs. Consultancy on a very pragmatic scale. Finding solutions together with your client. Offer instant solutions based on the know-how of DB&S. A great feeling!
