R. SchoutenAfter my study Business Economics I started my career with the SGS Holland Group (branch of a Swiss multinational). For a good year I had responsibilities as controller and quality assurance manager with SGS Technical Survey BV.
In 1992 I accepted the challenge to establish the SGS Institute for Certification called European Quality Certification Institute (E.E.S.V.). It became one of the leading certification institutes in Holland.

Early 1998 I switched to the world of consultancy. For KPMG Management Consultants I did consultancy work for several clients on a wide range of management corporate finance and organizational topics. The next two years I became a partner with the Justion Consultancy Group. Following that I worked as an independent corporate finance consultant and interim manager for corporates as DTO and Philips Semiconductors (NXP) for several years.

April 1st 2005 my old colleague and good friend Balthazar den Breems and I founded DB&S.
